What is Hova?
Hova is a company dedicated to helping people grow healthy plants.
FabricPotsTM were conceived and developed to provide an innovative/better solution to the needs of gardeners and plants alike. Gardeners need a healthy environment for their plants, a robust unbreakable container that minimizes mold growth and prevents the re-absorption of soluble salts from fertilizers, and a pot that provides greater aesthetic flexibility. Plants need a container that allows their roots to aerate properly and grow naturally. Through innovative solutions, Hova strives to make growing plants, one of life’s simple pleasures, a little easier for everyone.

Bios
After earning an Industrial Design degree from Syracuse University, Jim Varney went on to work for several design firms in the Boston area and a teaching stint at Wentworth Institute of Technology before becoming the Director of Design at Product Insight, Inc. His explorations in ecologically designed furniture and lighting have earned him awards such as the International Design Resource Award, and have been published in EcoDesign: The Sourcebook (Chronicle Books, 2002), among others. When not at the office, Jim enjoys cooking at home with herbs from his container garden.
In 1991, Bryan Hotaling co-founded Product Insight, Inc., an industrial design and engineering firm that over the years has garnered numerous accolades including multiple IDEA awards, Medical Design Excellence Awards, Good Design awards from the Chicago Athenaeum, and the 2006 Innovations Award from the Consumer Electronics Show. He has been awarded more than 70 patents and has helped to bring hundreds of products to market. A longtime lover of the outdoors, Bryan has hiked trails all over North America including most of the high peaks of the northeast. When he‘s not in the office, good luck finding him; you‘ll need a map, a compass and a good pair of boots.
